A few people sit in shady spots fishing, but other than that, Hector and I have the hot afternoon and the pond to ourselves. Hector has his nose to the ground, weaving it back and forth with intense seriousness, like a cartoon dog. We circle the pond, me trying to get the light as it shifts at every angle, him sniffing and marking. Happy day.

Oh George I love these! They look like paintings! Makes me want to watercolor them π When you say the blur is from camera movement, can you elaborate on settings, movement, etc.? Or is it your secret? π
Thanks for the nice comment! No secrets, really . . . I take a lot of shots, slowing down shutter speed and adjusting movement (sometimes with a tripod) until I have something like what I’m after.
thanks for sharing George. I’m very amateur π
Nice work. How did you generate the blur? In camera or in post-processing. Did you use a neutral density filter? Thanks π
Thanks for commenting. The blur is from camera movement. No ND filter. Just UV/haze.
Really love #3!
Great! I’m kind of partial to that one, too.
