The plaza, the pyramid, the escalators—the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame wants to be important. Inside, visitors pass each other awkwardly, riding up and down. The view from the café across the tubular trusses to the gift shop below is dramatic. The costumes of living and dead inductees hang next to each other on dark mannequins. Outside, music from hidden speakers dissipates across the lake and the timid skyline.

I keep coming back to this series of photographs. They are engrossing. As I view each image in turn I feel myself plunging into some alternate reality, some ulterior imagination perhaps. It’s trippy and exalting. This is excellent work. Some of the most inspiring I’ve seen.
