Seascapes

Sit me on a beach, and I can get lost at sea for hours. The water’s ceaselessness is breathtaking. The movement reveals everything, water reflecting itself and the sky, light striking a thousand angles at once. On the deck of a small boat, I can look back at the hills rising up and the water splashing against them. I can look out where there is only sea and movement. When I am lost at sea, I think about how simple the water is, how difficult for me to live up to it.

  1. Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog and giving it a ‘like’! From what I see here, you might like my next post which is my own experimentation with slow shutter speeds…which is new for me. Thanks again

    • I’m really fascinated by the changing shades and colors of the sea, and by how those colors influence the horizon and the sky. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
